Registration Guideline

General Information on Submission and Competition

*The student oral presentation competition and poster competition will be judged by experts. The first author must register, pay the fee, and complete the registration process in order to participate in the competition. Outstanding participants will receive certificates and cash prizes as encouragement.

Oral Presentation Competition

1. Both Chinese and English are acceptable for the presentation.

2. The presentation time for the oral paper competition is 8 minutes, followed by a 2-minute Q&A session, for a total of 10 minutes.

3. Due to limited slots for the oral competition, the preliminary results will be announced before August 1st. Those who do not pass the preliminary review will be transferred to the poster competition.

4. Recommendations for the content preparation of the presentations for competition students:

    Overall performance, including:

    1)      Purpose of the research

    2)      Significance of the research topic

    3)      Main strategies and design framework of the research methods

    4)      Novelty

    5)      Explanation of key findings

    6)      Potential future applications

 

Poster Competition

 

1. Drug Delivery System  2. Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering 3. Precision Medicine 4. Wearable Device Sensing Technologies 5. Immuno-Therapy

1. For poster presentations, please use a vertical A0 size ( High X Wide:119 cm X 84 cm) and include the project number from the NSTC below the title and authors.

2. For the physical poster competition, please adhere to the time and location announced by the conference, display the poster at the venue, and answer questions from the judges for in-person evaluation.

3. This poster competition will offer additional prizes!

4. Recommendations for the content preparation of the presentations for competition students:

    Overall performance, including:

    1) Purpose of the research

    2) Significance of the research topic

    3) Main strategies and design framework of the research methods

    4) Novelty

    5) Explanation of key findings

    6) Potential future applications

    7) Overall impression of poster design and layout

Young Investigator Competition (YIC)

1. Young Investigator Competition (for assistant professors, associate professors, assistant researchers, associate researchers, postdoctoral fellows, and related researchers under 45 years old). Awards include the "Dr. Zhao-Ren Li Young Investigator Award" and the "Taiwan Society for Biomaterials and Controlled Release Young Investigator Award," one each.

2. Both Chinese and English presentations are acceptable.

3. The presentation time for the Young Investigator Competition is 10 minutes (including a 8-minute presentation and a 2-minute Q&A session).

Abstract Sample
